How much does it cost to sealcoat a driveway? This is a common question asked by many homeowners when they either give us a call or fill out a form on our website. In order for us to answer this question we have to ask the homeowner a few things which dictates the price. Out of the several factors the biggest one by far is the size of your driveway. This is because the price is measured by how much resources we the driveway contractor have to use to complete the job. So then what dictates how much resources we have to use?
Size of the driveway
The bigger the surface, the more sealant, equipment use, and labor we need. There is no exact price for this because different companies charge slightly different prices. However, the range is $.12-$.18 per square feet of driveway. So if your driveway is 1000 square feet, we are looking at anywhere from $120 to $160. That is basically to cover our equipment and labor costs of actually doing the sealcoating by a professional sealcoating contractor.
